Denver Birth Photographer. I am all up in my baby feelings this week so I decided this birth today.
The best kind of emails are ones where past clients tell me they are expecting another baby, except I missed her first email. Yep, it ended up in my SPAM box. [See Liam’s Fresh 48 here.] I am so lucky she was persistent and gave me a call to ask why I hadn’t responded to her email. We chatted about the session on the phone because I was actually scheduled to be in California the week of her due date. She told me she didn’t care if I missed it we would just do a session at the house. That’s love y’all.
It wasn’t until weeks later that she contacted me to ask about a birth session. A friend of her husband just had one and LOVED it, so dad was on board. The chance to document the moment they found out the gender was too good to pass up. I canceled my trip to stay close to home. A trip to Cali has nothing on gender surprises. Nothing. Did I also mention they were delivering at Good Samaritan? I can practically see that hospital from my house, so convenient. There is a huge difference between being on call 5 minutes from home versus some of the other hospitals, like Poudre Valley Hospital.
Are you expecting a baby in and around Lafayette, Colorado? I would love to discuss documenting your birth at Avista Adventist Hospital, Boulder Community Health (Foothills), or Good Samaritan Medical Center. Are you delivering at another hospital in the Denver Metro area? Holler at me so we can discuss options. I am always in it for the snuggles of a Fresh 48, but the emotion of birth leaves me crying behind the lens.
