The Business of Telling Stories Workshop Review by Megan Hassold

workshop review by megan hassold

Registering for The Business of Telling Stories was by far the best thing I have done for my growth as a photographer to date. I knew I wanted to become a better storyteller but felt stuck in where to go next. In “walked” Colie! The weekly content and PDFs took the perfect progression from week one to six, with an ideal balance of the technical, creative, and business sides of storytelling photography. Each assignment challenged me to try new things and build on my skills. But what struck me most was the personalized feedback from Colie and Kayla. I felt constantly connected to them and my fellow workshoppers through the forum created specifically for the needs of this workshop. And unlike any workshop I have taken in the past, the end wasn’t necessarily the end. After six weeks I walked away more excited about my photography and where it is going than ever before, and part of a community of photographers that I will continue to grow with for years.”  Northern Virginia Family Photographer Megan Hassold

I’m so excited for this to start!

Not everyone wants their everyday, guaranteed-to-make-you-cry-happy-tears moments documented. But if you treasure those memories, let's chat. I'll bet you love it so much you'll come back for seconds.
