I really like being in photos. I don’t like how my husband takes the most unflattering angles. I don’t like how he doesn’t just CLICK CLICK CLICK when Chloe and I are interacting naturally. But most of all, I HATE how he can’t manage to take an in-focus image. Y’all, my new Nikon z6 has a touchscreen. You just touch the screen to focus + take the picture. It’s not any different than our iPhones. I asked him why he didn’t use the screen to take the photo like I told him too and he said “the box was right by your face so I just clicked”.
I didn’t check these images until a week later, because I didn’t realize my expectations of taking a single image with a touchscreen on my new fancy camera was beyond someone with a PhD. *Yes I realize I sound bitter but I just want to be IN the pictures.
So I’ve said it before and I will say it again for the people in the back, paying for photosessions is cheaper than marriage counseling. He agreed to practice taking pictures in a few weeks when my mom visits, but really he just doesn’t know we are doing TWO photosessions next year. End of story.
