Being a mother is amazing. Even when my child drives me absolutely stark-raving mad, she is still the best gift I have ever received. My Mother’s Day requests are just a meal and pictures. If I don’t feel like cooking then James knows he needs to get some amazing take-out. I also ask, let’s be honest I demand, that my family put on something they like and give me 15 minutes in front of my camera. Today I used the Fuji x100t because it was easier to prop up on a dresser drawer than a D750 and I was too lazy to run out to the car to get my tripod. I am feeling a bit weepy because I can barely hold her in my arms. I cannot even imagine she was ever small enough to be in my belly. Tell me she will always want to snuggle, even if it is not true just lie to me.

I had a vision for my mother’s day collage and this isn’t exactly it, but it is what I got. By the way she wore that same shirt for her school pictures this year, I think it might be time to make it disappear. I like variety in my pictures 🙂

Happy Mother’s Day and I hope you all had a fabulous day.
