Dear Chloe-
Fourteen years ago last week daddy and mommy got married and started our family, you were just really late to the party. Maybe your invite got lost in translation or maybe you just really wanted to be born in the fabulous state of Colorado. Whatever the reason we are certainly glad you are here now.
You are starting to read. It is super cute when you spell out the words and sound them out. We had school pictures last week and there was NO crying this year. That in itself is enough to see how much you have grown in a year.
Looking at your letter from last year this month it seems like nothing has changed. There are still toys EVERYWHERE, but now they are in the basement. We still miss our playdates with the Goode Tribe.
It seems last year this time was when I got George his very own IKEA bed. It only took almost a year to get you one of your own, but at least you are sleeping in it. Mommy or daddy still have to lay with you until you are asleep, but then we get a good chunk of time to sleep alone in our bed until you end up back in ours before the sun wakes up. Oh and George no longer sleeps in the doll bed, your never-ending rotation of dolls and stuffed animals seem to take turns. I love to take pictures in your new bed, it has such pretty light 🙂
I signed you up for 6 weeks of summer camps. Only in the morning though, so we should still have plenty of time for just us.
I love you sweet girl.
