Real talk: I don’t think anyone feels glamorous after delivering a new human (or two) into the world, but as the mother of a seven-year-old I can tell you it was the happiest. Visiting Hours (sessions) are about the new baby and while I place a LOT of emphasis on the sibling meeting (if applicable), they are about mom too. We can be super self-conscious and only having a crappy cell phone pic of us holding our new baby exacerbates the problem. So really moms I am there for you. Even the moms that shy from my lens and want me to focus on the baby, that just doesn’t happen. Because a great image of you holding that baby will be cherished not only by them but by you as well. I know it’s a big leap to trust someone to come in for photos, but it’s worth it.
Your life, your moments, with YOU in them.
This generation of kids is the most photographed ever. iPhones and other mobile phone cameras are in the hands of almost every parent, so you have plenty of pictures of your kids. You may even have selfie pictures of you in the frame with the kids. Don’t you want pictures without the limitation of how far your arm can stretch? Trust me, you do.
