Thank you.
Those words likely need no explanation but indulge me. I am sitting at the St Louis airport, session fatigue has set in, I am sleepy, my muscles are aching, it rained cats and dogs for most of my 4 hour drive to the airport, my flight is estimated to be 30 minutes late, and I already miss the two sweet girls that were sleeping when I left their cabin at 5:30 this morning.
Thank you.
To all my clients that invite me into their homes to capture their everyday for a couple of hours or a couple of days.
Thank you.
To all my clients who are actually happy to see me in the hospital after hours of labor with a brand new baby for me to document.
Thank you.
Most of all to my husband and kid who give me the freedom to be a jet-setting photographer who disappears for 48 hours 1 or 2 times a month to spend time with someone else’s family.
I know I give each of my families bottled up memories that last a lifetime, but I just might pick up a few of my own along the way.
Okay let me get on this plane and get home to my baby.
Thank you.
